Projects Overview
Construction projects are broken into numerous tasks completed by contractors and sub-contractors. Often, after project completion, a final inspection results in pending items and repairs before official project completion. Called the “Punchlist”, often involves various follow-ups between the customer and the contractor and could be automated.
Solution
When designing WalkThru, our priority was to deliver an exceptional user experience keeping in mind the user base of the app may not be tech savvy. We designed the solution with added automation in mind including things notifications to interested parties, media uploads, and reporting.
Its a mobile app that allows contractors to:
- View deficiency details and blueprints
- Upload and annotate photos
- Set deadlines and watchers
- Receive updates from contacts
- Close outstanding tasks
- Automatically notify managers
- Remind users of outstanding tasks
- Generate reports
