Projects Overview

Just before the pandemic began, a group of entrepreneurs approached Digital Fractal to develop a software program similar to uber for package delivery within the city. The application required a driver app for iOS and Android plaatforms, a mobile app for customers and a web dispatching and management interface. Later on, other platforms were introduced including magento and shopify apps to allow local vendors to fullfil orders using the local same day delivery provider.

The Solution

After numerous meetings to design the user interface, customer journeys and the look and feel of the solution, our team architected a scalable solution that allowed the product to scale with this startup. We developed a native mobile app platform for driver and consumer facing apps with a complete backend dispatch management system to allow management of orders, driver profiles, direct deposit payment to drivers and more.

Conclusion

Digital Fractal took on an end to end project with an Alberta startup to develop a concept into reality, from UI and architecture design, to mobile application development in native iOS and Android for drivers and passengers as well as web interfaces such order placement, shopify plugins and administrative backend. Digital Fractal provided and continuous to provide enhancements and support for this project.
